Every year NCO, auditions 1,000 7-13 year olds and identifies 600 young people to form six age-banded symphony orchestras and six regional orchestras. Many children progress through all our national orchestras gaining 6 years of learning opportunities as part of NCO.
A place in NCO gives a child access to inspirational residential music courses, performance opportunities and membership of year-round regional orchestras.
