NYOS Futures
NYOS Futures is the cutting-edge, cross-genre, contemporary ensemble of NYOS. Players are drawn from the Symphony and Jazz orchestras and membership is by invitation only. This ensemble aims to introduce young musicians and audiences to new music. NYOS Junior Orchestra
NYOS Junior Orchestra is for ambitious young musicians aged 8 and over. This is also the first step of the pathway for aspiring members of NYOS Senior Orchestra and NYOS Symphony Orchestra (The National Youth Orchestra of Scotland). Samyo
Samyo is the National Youth Orchestra for Indian Music. As the only youth orchestra in Britain to combine North and South Indian music traditions with Western influences and orchestral elements, it is leading the way for the next generation of Indian musicians in the UK while creating new avenues for future collaborative work. The National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain (NYWO)
The National Youth Wind Orchestra Of Great Britain is a large concert orchestra with approximately 75 members aged 14-21. Main Orchestra grade 8, ages 14-21. Chamber Music Course and Saxophone Course grade 8, ages 14-21. Auditions take place every autumn for courses the following year. Residential courses Spring and Summer. NYWO is considered by conductors coming from abroad to be one of the very best wind orchestras in the world.

Vacation Chamber Orchestras (VaCO)
VaCO Concentrates on Chamber Orchestra/Ensemble repertoire. Students take greater responsibility and get more expert tutor time. Greater opportunities to explore repertoire that isn’t usually covered by conservatoire / university symphony orchestras or national and county youth orchestras. Fewer participants on each course allows us to tailor opportunities to the individual. Advanced students get opportunities, responsibilities and experiences suitable to their level. Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra
Exists to provide a much needed bridge between college life and the profession. Students and particularly graduates wishing to follow a career in music are encouraged to apply. Min of 4 courses and concerts a yr are given at St John's Smith Sq where the orch is resident. Auditions held biennially in the autumn (annually for str players). Age range: Music graduates up to age 25, music students aged 18-25. No of members: 70.
