VaCO Concentrates on Chamber Orchestra/Ensemble repertoire. Students take greater responsibility and get more expert tutor time. Greater opportunities to explore repertoire that isn’t usually covered by conservatoire / university symphony orchestras or national and county youth orchestras. Fewer participants on each course allows us to tailor opportunities to the individual. Advanced students get opportunities, responsibilities and experiences suitable to their level. Less confident students get the support and mentoring they need. Age range: 16-24. Grade 8 minimum.
