NYO brings together talented musicians 3 times pa (Dec-Jan, Apr, Jul-Aug) for 2-wk residential courses followed by concerts in major halls. NYO Comp Courses take place during the main NYO courses. Entry requirements: Annual auditions in autumn, applications by Jul. Min gr 8 (distinction) standard, applicants need not have taken exams. Age range: 13-19. No of members: 165.
