Richard McMahon is widely known as a solo pianist and accompanist of considerable experience having been active professionally since the 1970`s. He has worked with many of the most distinguished artists of the last few decades as well as maintaining his profile as a soloist with many broadcasts, recordings and solo recitals. He led the Kb Department of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama between 1996 and 2015. He is an experienced adjudicator (including BBC Young Musician of the Year) and continues to enjoy recitals, lecture recitals, masterclasses and adjudication opportunities.
