Martin Kasik won the New York Young Concert Artists Competition in 1999. He was awarded the Pasadena Symphony Soloist Prize; the Beracasa Foundation Prize of the Montpellier Radio-France Festival; First Prize in the Prague Spring Competition, the Akzo Nobel Prize, and the Davidoff Prize. Orchestras he has performed with include New York Chamber Orchestra, Singapore, Minnesota, Prague, Bournemouth and Chicago Symphony Orchestras, Deutsche Radio Berlin, Rotterdam, Helsinki and Slovak Philharmonics, His CD of works by Schumann and Rachmaninoff was awarded the highest rating in ´Repertoire´.
