King Henry VIII School
Music activities: 25 visiting music teachers, 4 choirs, senior & junior orchestra, senior & junior wind band, jazz ensemble, many chamber ensembles. Masterclasses from outstanding musicians. Regular, large-scale concerts both in school and outside (e.g. Butterworth Hall, Coventry Cathedral, guest appearance in Brendan Cole's dance show). Full musical productions, most recently Les Miserables. Regular trips to see productions and concerts, regular tours, this year visiting Prague and Dresden. Awards: Scholarships are awarded at 6th Form and Year 7. Termly fees: £3,673-£5,300. (rec-snr).
