Awards: Awards equivalent to the cost of tuition on two or three inst are offered to outstanding musicians showing great potential; candidates are auditioned in Jan. Candidates may be offered an academic scholarship or means-tested bursary in addition. Exhibitions tenable for one year at a time, are awarded each Sep for pupils showing promise on a particular instrument. Music activities: Ens, choirs, concert bands and orch.
