Founded in 1963 to provide a place for musically gifted children from around the world to develop their talents to the highest level within a nurturing & stimulating academic environment. The School provides a holistic musical & academic education for 85 pupils (age 8-19) with specialist tuition on stringed instruments, piano & classical guitar. Most are boarders with around 10 day pupils. Annual fees 26/27; £49,260 (day); £50,564 (board). Fees are means-tested with around 90% of pupils requiring some form of financial aid, either from the Music & Dance Scheme or from donated bursaries.
