Pianist, accompanist, teacher. Sophia is a professional pianist based in Bristol. She studied at the prestigious Gnessin Academy of Music, Moscow, and graduated with a Master’s degree in 1998. After graduating she went on to perform in numerous concerts both in Russia and in Sri Lanka, where she repeatedly appeared as soloist with the Sri Lanka Symphony Orchestra.

Her debut took place in France but it was at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden (Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Cosi fan tutte) and the Semperoper Dresden (Ariadne auf Naxos) under the Direction of Sir Colin Davis where she had her greatest success.
