Pianist, accompanist, teacher. Sophia is a professional pianist based in Bristol. She studied at the prestigious Gnessin Academy of Music, Moscow, and graduated with a Master’s degree in 1998. After graduating she went on to perform in numerous concerts both in Russia and in Sri Lanka, where she repeatedly appeared as soloist with the Sri Lanka Symphony Orchestra. Sophia lives in Bristol and is in demand as a teacher and accompanist. She works at Wells Cathedral and Badminton schools and also has a successful private teaching studio with many prize winning pupils.
