The Petrof Piano Trio, formed in 2009, has been resident trio at the Zábřeh na Moravě International Chamber Music Course (Czech Republic) since 2011. The Trio's CDs for Nimbus Alliance have attracted good reviews: The Strad commented 'The scherzo is delightfully played, and in the finale the players demonstrate a masterly command of scale, negotiating its emotional turbulence with a prevailing sense of delicacy.' The Trio gave the world premiere at the Kroměříž Festival of Janáček´s “Kreutzer´s Sonata”, arranged by leading Czech musicologist Miloš Štědroňat.
