Guildhall Young Artists (GYA) Taunton is a Saturday performing arts centre that is part of Guildhall School of Music & Drama, providing high quality sustainable music and drama training for young people. Students aged 5–18 attend for bands, orchestra, singing, music production, theory, individual lessons, drama & much more. The same is offered at the centre’s Summer Holiday Course. AWARDS: Financial assistance may be available through GYA Taunton. Currently 40% receive financial support. The centre welcomes complete beginners as well as experienced young people. Founded in 1973, the Hackney Singers are a 150-strong community choir in East London, drawing members from Hackney, surrounding boroughs and across London.
