Hackney Singers
Founded in 1973, the Hackney Singers are a 150-strong community choir in East London, drawing members from Hackney, surrounding boroughs and across London. We present at least two concerts a year, working with professional orchs and soloists, and particularly the Forest Philarmonic. Conductors Mark Shanahan & Dan Ludford-Thomas. We have an open door, non-audition policy; new members accepted when space allows.
