Making Music

The UK membership organisation for over 3,500 leisure-time music groups, including choral societies, community choirs, orchestras, brass bands, ukulele groups, jazz bands, drumming groups, flute choirs, and more. We support members with practical services including insurance, DBS checking, and over 200 online resources. We also advocate for the sector, to ensure that more individuals and communities can enjoy the proven benefits of leisure-time musical activity. Making Music is a lead partner in Make Music Day which celebrates music with free public events on 21 June every year.
