Bedales School is one of the UK's top independent co-education boarding schools. Bedales comprises three schools situated in Hampshire: Bedales Pre prep, Bedales Prep and Bedales itself. Established in 1893, Bedales was founded to be different. Where other independent schools imposed conformity, we have always nurtured individuality, initiative and an enquiring mind. A number of scholarships for candidates entering at ages 11,13 and 16. Grade 8 required for 6th form candidates, with potential and enthusiasm more important than formal qualifications.
