Music facilities: Inc PCs with Sibelius and Cubase, recording studio with Digidesign Pro Tools. 3 rehearsal rooms with full backline and vocal PA. 2 in-house venues. Musical groups: rock/pop, classical, gospel choir. No of places: 20 on each course. FE level courses: Edexcel BTEC extended diploma in music. Course/teaching aims: Allow insight into a range of disciplines inc ens skills, comp, arrangement, repertoire selection and generation, computer music production, concert staging and live sound, project and event management, recording studio production, and cultural and industry studies.
