A leading UK choir & Early Music ensemble, Ex Cathedra performs music from the Renaissance to the 21st century and commissions new music. It is well-known for its performances of French & Latin American Baroque music. It promotes its own season of concerts in Birmingham, the Midlands and in London and has appeared at major festivals and concert series as far afield as New York and Tel Aviv. A vocal Consort (10 singers) to chamber choir (c.35 singers), with its own Baroque Orchestra. Its education programmes reach tens of thousands of children in schools and hospitals each year.
