Scottish Ensemble
Versatile group of str players from Scotland and across Europe. Based in Glasgow; 40-50 concerts per year in the six cities of Scotland; regular summer tour of the more remote and rural Highlands and Islands of Scotland; festival appearances plus an annual series at London's prestigious Wigmore Hall. New works for str regularly contrast and complement much-loved classics. Regular tours abroad. Recent engagements incl performances in China, Germany, France and Brussels (at the request of the Scottish Government). Recent educ work incl a large scale early years project, w/shops.
