A well-established ensemble with 40 years of concert and broadcasting experience, both nationally and internationally. They have toured in Western Europe, Australia, the USA, the Far East, India, Brazil and China. Their CD recordings number around 30, and they have commissioned works from leading British composers, including Beamish, Cowie, Cutler, Matthews, Maw, Simpson and Skempton. Since 1977 they have held the post of Quartet-in-Residence at the University of Warwick.
