The Performing Arts Dept is the expert link between UK music, drama and dance and the British Council's global network. Works with international colleagues to plan, resource, deliver and evaluate high impact arts projects overseas. Aims to enhance its reputation in the UK both as a source of excellence and vitality in the arts and as a valued partner in international artistic and education exchange. It is not a funder in the way that the national arts councils are.
