The Royal Academy of Music has been training musicians to the highest professional standards since its foundation in 1822. Students benefit from a varied calendar of concerts, operas, musical theatre shows and other events, in the run-up to which they work regularly with leading practitioners. Courses: BMus (4); MA (3); MMus (2); PGDip (2); MPhil (2); PhD (2); AdvDip (2). Facilities: 110 teaching & practice rooms, 155 specialist music rooms, Theatre, Concert Hall, Recital Hall (2), audiovisual facilities, library.
