Thomas Rösner

Described as an “exciting, truthful conductor”, Viennese-born Thomas Rösner is renowned for his work in both the opera house and in concert. Current and recent highlights include Die Schatzinsel (world première) and Fidelio for Opernhaus Zurich, Così fan tutte in a staging by Michael Haneke for Théâtre Royal de La Monnaie and his US operatic debut conducting Die Fledermaus for Houston Grand Opera. This season he conducts at both the Wagner Festival Geneva and the Tivoli Festival in Copenhagen, and other orchestral appearances include, Bamberger Symphoniker, Beethoven Orchester Bonn.
