BA (Hons) Popular Music (3 f/t, 5 p/t). Facilities: concert room with pro lighting and PA, digital media workshop, 24 and 48 channel recording studios, sound-treated edit suites and solo/band practice rooms. London location gives students access to promoters, record labels, concerts and gigs. Course covers practical skills in songwriting, performance and production, and equips students with the entrepreneurial skills and industry knowledge required to gain employment or to self-release. Weekly Concerts and Colloquia series features workshops and talks from musicians and industry professionals.
