Deutsches Komponistenarchiv in HELLERAU – Europäisches Zentrum der Künste Dresden
Founded in 2005 the German Composers’ Archive preserves collections of works by contemporary composers and provides practising musicians, academia and the media with these culturally significant sources. The archived collections contain musical manuscripts, audio/audiovisual recordings, reviews, programmes, photographs, correspondence and other materials related to the creative process. Its openness for every musical genre and its connection to an interdisciplinary working arts facility make the German Composer’s Archive one of a kind in Europe.
