Taking place in the third week of August on the scenic Newton Park Campus, the Summer School and Festival offers an intensive and fun week learning new guitar skills and improving playing. There’s something for everyone with concerts and classes in a variety of genres including jazz, blues, rock, funk, classical guitar and a brand new vocal course for those who wish to improve their singing and collaborate with guitarists. Students can join evening jamming sessions and get free entry into the lunchtime and evening concerts by world-renowned guitarists and talented young artists.
