The Arts Centre which is run by volunteers hosts events including; professional music events (jazz, folk, classical and contemporary), drama presentations, monthly comedy nights, children's shows as well as amateur drama. Other Activities include Craft fairs, functions, receptions, films, dances, conferences, art and photo exhibitions, educational talks and workshops, youth theatre and dance groups.
