Charleston Festival

From the moment you walk through the gates of Charleston Manor, the magic is apparent: the lush lawns, the heady scent of lilac and honeysuckle and the distant strains of a cello in the evening air. The splendid historic house and its grounds, tucked away in the heart of Sussex countryside, hosts one of the most enjoyable and unusual summer festivals in England. Each year the great British cellist Robert Cohen invites friends and colleagues - some of the most outstanding musicians before the public today.
