UNISA International Music Competitions
Eligibility: Open to instrumentalists of all nationalities aged 29 or under Requirements: 5 rounds inc CD prequalifying round and final concerto round. Works, except accompanied sonatas and prescribed SA comp, must be performed from memory. Set repertoire choices at each stage. Prizes: Prize money totalling US $15,000. Special prizes may be awarded. Entry fees: $85. Location: Pretoria. Dates: Jan-Feb. Closing date for applications: Prev Aug Frequency: Annual, categories change each year (pno, voice, strings).
