Jakub Hrůša
Born in the Czech Republic and described by Gramophone as ‘on the verge of greatness’, Jakub Hrůša is Chief Conductor of Bamberg Symphony, Principal Guest Conductor of the Philharmonia Orchestra, Permanent Guest Conductor of the Czech Philharmonic and Principal Guest Conductor of Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra (TMSO). He served as Music Director and Chief Conductor of PKF–Prague Philharmonia from 2009 to 2015, Music Director of Glyndebourne on Tour from 2010-2012, and Chief Conductor of the Bohuslav Martinů Philharmonic Orchestra from 2005-2006.
