World's first competition for early music ens. Since the 1st edition in 1986, it has developed into a festival in addition to the competition rounds, inc concerts, masterclasses and lectures. Eligibility: For baroque music instrumental and vocal ens, max 8 persons per ens. An individual musicians may participate in max 2 ens. No age limit. Requirements: Participants should use original instruments or good replicas. Prizes: 1st prize: concert tour in Netherlands and Belgium. 2nd prize: EUR 3000. 3rd prize: EUR 2000. Also audience prize, prize for best musician in an ens, and masterclass award.
