Honens discovers, nurtures and presents Complete Artists - 21st century pianists for 21st century audiences. The Eighth Honens Prize for Piano will be awarded in Sept 2015. Requirements: aged 20-30 on 3 Sept 2015. Recital round: ten pianists perform a solo recital and a recital of chmbr music and art song collaboration; Finals: three pianists perform with orch. Prizes: Honens Prize Laureate CAD 100,000; Finalists CAD 15,000; Recital Round Pianists CAD 5,000; Prize Laureate is presented a half-million dollar three-year artist development program. Entry fees: US $100. Frequency: Triennial.
