CoMA promotes contemporary music through the participation of amateur, youth and other non-professional ensembles by commissioning flexibly (open) scored repertoire which is original and artistically exciting yet technically accessible, enabling convincing performances by a wide range of ensembles. An expanding network of CoMA and affiliated music groups exists throughout the UK and Europe. CoMA's training programme in performance and comp inc annual comp masterclasses and a summer school. Active collaboration with leading professional musicians and comps underpins all CoMA activities .
