Indian music and dance taught at beginners' and diploma level during the 3 terms of the academic yr. Group and individual tuition taught in a 3-yr diploma and 2-yr post-diploma course in Bengali music, Karnatic and Hindustani vocal music. Classes conducted in harmonium, vina, sitar, vn etc. Non-diploma classes on the disciplines mentioned are offered through w/shops lectures and demonstrations. Performances by world renowned artists are given throughout the year in the 300-seat Mountbatten Auditorium; bookshop; membership available offering discounts on tickets.
