MSc Music Therapy
Situated within the School of Health Sciences, MSc Music Therapy is the only professional training programme for music therapy in Scotland. It is a full-time, two-year programme validated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Teaching focuses on the interaction of theory, practice, latest research and experiential learning. The course encompasses psychodynamic, humanistic, developmental and music-centred approaches to music therapy. The training is designed to prepare students to work with people with a wide range of needs.
