ETO offers a wide variety of projects aiming to make opera accessible to as broad a section of the community as possible. W/shops in mainstream and special needs schools encourage pupils to actively explore musical and dramatic themes. INSET training is an integral part of these projects. ETO also runs an extensive programme for people with disabilities, inc Behind the Scenes afternoons and audio-described and captioned perf. There are also pre-perf talks at tour venues.
