The Quebec Music Council's mandate is to promote concert music, ensure its visibility and vitality and represent the milieu to governments. National regrouping of professional musicians and workers of concert music, it offers many services to its members with respect to its mission. Each year it presents the Opus Awards to recognise excellence in the field of concert music in Quebec.
