In the autumn of 2012 Alexander Liebreich began his first season as Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the first foreign conductor to hold this position. He remains Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Munich Chamber Orchestra, a position he has held since 2006.
