An annual celebration of voice which takes place in the coastal village of Glenarm, County Antrim in August each year. The festival includes BBC Radio 3 recitals and an annual vocal competition for opera singers. The competition is open to singers aged 18-28 born in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland: entrants are required to be studying voice at 3rd level or privately and pursuing a career in opera. Five finalists are selected, along with a piano intern, and they perform in a live competition finale in front of an audience and a jury panel to win the Deborah Voigt Opera Prize.

Swaledale Festival is an annual festival of music and arts based in the three most northerly Yorkshire Dales - Swaledale, Wensleydale and Arkengarthdale - a large rural area of outstanding beauty.
