Described as having “powers of artistic communication across generations – ranging from eight year-olds to octogenarians”, the Divertimento Piano Trio has been hailed for its dynamic performances and the brilliance of its ensemble. The Trio presents over thirty concerts each year in the UK, and on classical music cruises, with highlights in 2014 including a tour to Hong Kong and Macau giving concerts and educational workshops to packed houses.
The Dominic Alldis Trio comprises Dominic Alldis (piano, arranger), Andrew Cleyndert (double bass) and Martin France (drums). Their aim is to explore the meeting point of two musical worlds: classical and jazz. Inspired by the Jacques Loussier Trio, Bill Evans Trio, Dave Brubeck Quartet and the Modern Jazz Quartet, their concerts appeal to both classical and jazz audiences who enjoy chamber music, jazz and the timeless art of improvisation.
”Alldis is unique, a polished and delicate jazz pianist… he performs with such subtle precision…” Dave Gelly, The Observer
