Professionally directed choir performing with professional orchestras and soloists in south west and central London, English cathedral residencies and short tours abroad. Repertoire covers renaissance, 18th-20th C, sacred, opera. Entrance is by audition. Membership approximately 90. Under the direction of new MD, Harry Bradford, the Choir's main concerts are in December 2019 - Vivaldi/Haydn/Vaughan Williams and carols for choir and audience, March 2020 - Mozart Solemn Vespers and Beethoven Mass in C major, and June 2020 - Victoria, Howells, Poulenc, Handel, Finzi. Thames Youth Orchestra
Thames Youth Orchestra, formed in 2005, comprises of over 60 school students from South West London, from over 20 schools. With a focus on high-quality music-making, excellent tuition and challenging repertoire, the orchestra puts on programmes of 20th and 21st century pieces, with a large staff team supporting and teaching the orchestra. The double bass, harp and viola schemes provide free tuition for talented musicians in order to encourage take-up on these lesser-played instruments.

The 17th International Edvard Grieg Piano Competition is held in the pristine and spectacular settings of Grieg's home Troldhaugen in Bergen, Norway, from September 2020. The 8th International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musician is organized by the Association of Tchaikovsky Competition Stars, the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, the Russian Gnesins Academy of Music and the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory. Opening Ceremony, Third round, Awards Ceremony and Closing Ceremony of the Competition will be held at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. Finalists will perform with a symphony orchestra.
