Originally from Teramo, Bass-baritone Luciano Di Pasquale studied with E. Battaglia and R. Resnik and went on to win a scholarship to the International Competition "Vinas" in Barcelona and won the International Competition "Toti Dal Monte" in Treviso.
His future engagements include La Cenerentola Internatonal Music Festival of Cartagena in Colombia, Tosca Opéra National de Paris (Opéra Bastille) and Don Pasquale Opéra Théâtre de Saint-Étienne. Since 2008 he has held the position of Artistic Director for the Festival ArteinCanto in Basciano.
Lucy Schaufer's current and future engagements include SUSANNA The Ghosts of Versailles, MARCELLINA Le nozze di Figaro and BERTA Il barbiere di Siviglia Los Angeles Opera, FORESTER’S WIFE The Cunning Little Vixen Garsington Festival, MARCELLINA The Marriage of Figaro English National Opera, BARONESS SCHRAEDER The Sound of Music Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver and ALDONZA Man of La Mancha Central City Opera. Lucy's first solo recording, CARPENTERSVILLE, co-produced with ABC Classics in Australia, was released in the spring of 2013.
