Concert Guitarist. Also performs with classical guitarist Peter Cain in 'Duo Polis' Brian also plays Baroque and Reanaissance guitar with Diabolus in Musica, specialists in early music. He also regularly collaborates with Jazz Guitarist Roy Sainsbury to create an interesting fusion of these two styles. He Studied with guitarist and writer Brian Whitehouse in Birmingham at the Conservatoire where he was awarded the Rectial Diploma. Apart from his performance work Brian also enjoys passing on his knowledge in his role as visiting teacher at the highly acclaimed Wolverhampton Grammar School.

Bridge String Quartet
Named after the composer Frank Bridge, this established quartet is most noted for their performances and numerous highly commended 5 star recordings of English music; most recently for EMR of Gurney song cycles with singers Charles Daniels and Roderick Williams. They perform regularly with pianist Michael Dussek. Uniquely their leader is also a composer and has written commissions for CBSO. They run many dynamic amateur chamber music courses and the Bridge Initiative Trust ( Charity reg 1133156) helps finance various performing and educational projects.

Bridgetower Music
Bridgetower Music was formed in 2013 by James Widden and Alison Holford as a chamber music ensemble that could perform in a variety of small-group line-ups – string quartet, piano trio, or other combination of instruments. In its current grouping, Bridgetower Music will be performing the Messiaen Quartet for the End of Time (together with other related works) in Autumn 2016 and Spring 2017.
