Award winning British pianist Maria Marchant is much in demand as recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician since giving her Wigmore and Southbank debuts to critical acclaim. Her debut CD for SOMM Recordings, 'Echoes of Land & Sea' was released in September 2017, soon after Maria appeared as a guest performing live on Radio 3 In Tune. The CD features three premiere recordings including piano works composed for her by Roderick Williams and Vally Lasker's arrangement of Holst's Brook Green Suite. Maria is delighted to be pianist-in-residence at the Shipley Arts Festival.
