Malcolm Watson’s guitar style combines a classical training with the experience of working in contemporary popular styles and world music. As a youngster he played in a rock band and performed solo acoustic jazz/blues & folk, then trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, graduating with a Master's degree in performance and was awarded the guitar prize. Malcolm has performed solo concerts around the UK, appeared as a guest with many groups, worked extensively as an accompanist, and played in theatre shows and function gigs.
