London Concert Choir celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2010; it appears at all the major London concert venues and its unusually broad repertoire ranges from unaccompanied church music to large-scale choral works. Recent seasons have included Britten’s War Requiem, Haydn’s oratorio The Seasons in Assisi, Bach’s St Matthew Passion, Monteverdi’s Vespers and Vaughan Williams’ Sea Symphony. LCC has commissioned a number of new works and often gives concerts for charity.
