During the 2013-2014 season at the Metropolitan, Markov is performing in La Bohéme. His 2012/2013 season includes his debut in a new production of Il Trovatore at the Bayerische Staatsoper and debut at the Verbier Festival. Hailed by the press in summer 2009 as Robert in a new production of Iolanta in Baden-Baden (for DVD release).
