Mr. Jovanovich opens the 2014-2015 season at San Francisco Opera as Sam in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah in a new production by Michael Cavanagh, followed by his return to the Metropolitan Opera as Sergei in Shostakovich’s Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk under the baton of James Conlon.

This season, bass-baritone Christian Van Horn makes his debut at the San Diego Opera as Colline in La bohème and returns to both the Bayerische Staatsopera as the Four Villains in Les contes d'Hoffmann and to the San Francisco Opera for Norma, Un Ballo in Maschera, Cenerentola, La bohème, Les Troyens, and the premiere of Marco Tutino's Two Women. Mr. Van Horn recently made his debut at the Metropolitan Opera in La bohème and as Pistola in a new production of Falstaff with James Levine.
