TCS was founded in 1951 and has since performed in some very prestigious venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall and at Kneller Hall with the Band of the Royal Military School of Music.
We are a mixed community Choir composed by more than 110 members.
New singers are always welcome. We rehearse and perform with our sense of humour switched on.
TCS is under the direction of Julian Collings since beginning of 2019 and Phil Culling is its accompanist.

The AESS with the Toni V Fell Musical Charitable Trust offers The Fell Musical Theatre Prize of £1,000 to be held in London in May or June annually.
Competitors (18-25 years old) preparing for a career in Musical Theatre are required to perform a song and a scene/speech as a sequence in the original English (no translations) which can come from any source and be presented in any order; they do not have to be from the same source. There must be a smooth transition between the two elements as though performing within the context of Musical Theatre. The programme should not exceed six minutes.
