Requirements: Initial entry by submission of audio recording of 1 traditional hymn (from list of 100) and one inspirational/gospel song. 2nd round selection by assessment at session/workshop. Sound and Music Composition School for Young Composers
The Composition School will take place at the University of Huddersfield in Summer 2025 as part of In the Making, our artist development programme for young composers and music creators. Our year runs from the beginning of September until the end of April. We hold an autumn concert in November followed by a Carol Concert at St Mary's Church, Old Amersham in December. This inc a free Children's Concert as part of our afternoon rehearsal. In April we hold our Spring Concert as part of the Amersham Festival of Music. As an optional extra we hold a Summer Concert. St Mary’s Music School, Piano Summer School
Residential piano course, 3rd - 8th August 2025, in the heart of Edinburgh during the world-famous Edinburgh International Festival. Open to enthusiastic pianists age 13-19 who are at Grade 6 and above.
